Well I've decided to make things short and sweet.

Today:
Crap, didn't managed to finish up our speed control circuit both the circuit and the report itself so had to go back and get it done again. Apple and her bf dropped by my house to look at Magic the Gathering cards, well they took back alot and i managed to clear up some of the cards. Made just $8.50, well good enough for me. Jing Yuan later came with all the new parts to fix me a new com!! XD All for the cost of $500!! Intel Dual Core 2.2G Hz Processor, 1G RAM, 256MB DDR2 so everything was kinda worth it. :) then all 4 of us went to have dinner before heading back home. JY is damn sick, Resident Prevert.. LOL!

Yesterday:
Skipped the second half of school to go and meet my old friends at Serangoon JC, met Gabriel, Andrew, Jarnarthan from my secondary sch class, Joel from NCC Air and Alicia from my church :) had a wonderful time there. After studying a little with Gabriel, followed Alicia and her friend, Tzewei to have some homemade noodles at AMK hub then homed together cuz all of us are like on the way so we took the same bus back home :)

Well that's it for these few days, I hope everyone is happy that I updated my blog and it's alive again yay!!

"For every breathe I'd take, I'd give thanks to God above, For as long as I shall live, I will Testify to Love..."

Cheers everyone :)

2007 Santa Cruz Malacca

Heya there everyone :)

I just got back on Sunday night, all tired and sleepy from my Santa Cruz Malacca trip :)

My family and I left our home at 6.20am on Saturday morning, at 2am that morning, my mum and I went over to 7 Eleven to get some tit bits for ourselves to munch on that night and my grandmum called us crazy before going back to sleep haha! XD Gil was so sweet to accompany and chat with me till I needed to go but the sleepiness got ther better of her and she dozed off at about 4am, leaving me to watch "200 Pounds of Beauty" until it was time for me to get ready to go.

There on the bus, I saw some old familiar faces, all the regulars, the aunties and uncles that have been going for this trip for donkey years man! Plus I did meet some of the younger ones, later I'll intro a few of them :)

So off we left to Second Link, and once we're out of there, we headed to Johor for breakfast. The place we went for makan was kinda different like this.

My mum strolling and surveying the area

Noticed anything different? I realised these makan places are slightly different than our usual coffee shop. See the stalls are not located on the inside of the makan place but located towards the outside of the place, nearer to the tables outside. And all the other tables are centralised inside of the coffee shop. Weird right? :)

Soon after breakfast, we made our way to Malacca, and along the way, I was playing my PSP, and my friend Naomi, was playing my PSP too :)

This is Naomi, This is my PSP lol!

So along the way, the bus made a detour to one of our favorite shops, we visit here every year but we are never tired of it.

This Place Sells the BEST & FRESHEST Fragrant Biscuits in Malaysia!!

Our favorite biscuit shop :)

Firstly, this place is a factory, so everything is HOT OUT OF THE OVEN FRESH!! YAY! Which taste so darn good when it's hot and fresh.

Secondly, this place is the wholesaler so you can get it for almost half the price here.

Lastly, this place sells GREAT TASTING Biscuits! Well FYI if ya dont know wad's this fragrant biscuit about. It's a small dome shaped biscuit with the "Old Wife's Biscuit" kinda of flaky pastry on the outside and a sweet and sticky(not that sticky) caramel mixture in the center and taste the best when it's pipping hot XD

Well since it's nearing the mooncake festival, the factory started making mooncakes not too long ago and as you can see, all fresh from the oven too! :)

Fresh out the oven Moon Cakies!

That's our tour guide in the pinkie shirt and my priate of an uncle, as usual, coped one of the mooncakes from the shelf, and discretly passed it to my mum on her way back to the bus haha!

My Pirate-ty Uncle XD

My mum with the stolen mooncake haha!

Well, take it as a sample, the mooncakes here were good, but the biscuits still rock man hahaha!

We made our way to the Legacy Hotel and had lunch there before we checked in to our rooms at 1 plus. Gosh! The rooms are damn cosy!! Comfortable Beds!! TV only 9 channels but they have DISNEY CHANNEL!! WhOoOo!! I was watch the Disney Channel in the bed till I slept until 4pm and we had to make our way the church.

When we arrived there, the weather was cool and quite windy, here at the Church of Santa Cruz is famous almost throughout Asia, some miracle happened at the foot of the wooden cross, dunno wad's the story but the cross is black, not through paint or charred from fire, it's just black. Plus this chruch is only opened once a year and we were brought here early so that we can see the black cross. There's always a long queue to see and touch the cross. Because in the past, because of the miracle, people come to visit the church and carve out a small piece of the wooden cross until the church had to stop it before... I dunno... before the whole cross is gone? I didn't see it actually, my mum did, she said it looked like it's rotten at the bottom but was actually done due to the carving of the wood.

Well, for me on the other hand, I met my Eurasian cousin!! And my Eurasian Auntie from Malacca!! I miss them so much :)

Tiffiany on the left and Auntie Carol on the right

Tiffiany is 17 now and is currently studying in Sports School in Kular Lumpur, doing badminton and now she's back in Malacca to study for an important exam, something like O levels for us haha!

So I dropped by their house with my mum, saw my other guy cousin, Timothy and their father, Eric. Haha, I had to help Tiffiany with her English work and at just nice 6pm, Auntie Carol drove Tiff, my mum and me to somewhere near Jonker Street to eat Satay!!

Ooohh mannn... the Satay there is fantastic!! Not like our usual satay we have here, it's meat, with a thin slice or fat, followed by meat and another slice or fat, followed by the last piece of meat to make up 1 stick of satay...mmmmm... XD

Malaysia's Milo is the best!!

Auntie Carol talking to my mum

Me and my cousin Tiffany :) Why do we look so weird in this?

After that we went to one of the new shopping centre(dunno the name) that just opened a few months ago, HUGE and in the shape of a cross and in the centre is a big dance floor cuz every weekend, there would be Chinese cultural dance and line dancing there(Auntie Carol knows it cuz she's in the line dancing herself haha!). Later we walked across the stree to head to Makota Shopping Centre, another big one though not as big as the new one that just opened. But there at Makota, the only thing I love going there is for Baskin Robins Ice Cream, gosh the 4 of us spent Rm 50 on 3 ice creams, all double scoop ice cream and 2 of the ice creams were in the waffle bowls..ooohh it was so darn good! Silly me, I was too mesmerised by the taste and flavor that I forgot to take pictures haha!

Later we shopped around a little, Tiffiany got herself a lovely skirt, I got myself an Addias track pants and a new wallet(everything is dirt cheap la!)

It was getting late and by the time we finished our shopping spree, it was 10pm already, and the place Auntie Carol told us that we should go is... the famous Oyster Omellete stall. The queue was tremendously long, about 15 ppl at least, the uncle has this large wok and he adds about 8 eggs at a time to cover the entire thing, while he adds the starch and the oysters and other stuff.

The OysterMan!!

While waiting for our oyster omellete to be ready, we dropped by the next stall to have wantan noodles. After collecting our order, Auntie Carol and Tiffiany saw me and my mum off at our hotel room(Luckily they came, cuz they had to use the loo haha!). Finishing up the osyter omellete with my mum and grandmum, I bathed and slept in front of the tv(Disney Channel!).

The next day on Sunday morning, me and my mum were woken up suddenly by the wake up call on your hotel phone, "Mannn... It's 5am in the morning..." "Boy, must hurry up, breakfast starts at 6am." Wad the hell? Why so early one? But even at that early hour, people were already filling the tables fast. We had to depart early to go for the service at the Santa Cruz church.

Hordes of people flooded the church, the church was perched on top of a hill, and everyone was slowly walking up towards the church. And there at 9.30, Auntie Carol and Tiffiany met us to attend the service with us.

Church of Santa Cruz, opens once a year only

Hordes of people slowly climbing up towards the church

Receiving Holy Communion in a very..."Orderly Fashion" lol!

Buying Kueh Kueh at the stalls along the way to church

As soon as the service ended, we hugged and kisses each other goodbye, only to see each other the next year(or hopefully soon?). We headed down to a few places, first to a chocolate factory, not really a factory cuz there's only a shop but claims to have a factory nearby. Second, we headed to a place before lunch, we headed to a famous kueh kueh stall called "Charlie's", sellings Nonya kueh, but damn good kueh. I personally love the Puluot(Glututious rice) with kaya. People come by the dozens! All carrying red trays to get as much kueh they can get! Oh did i forget to mention that this place is not really a stall? It's actually like a little factory but it's also a house, all the staff live there :)

The guy in blue is Charlie and all his Kueh Kueh

Mad House!! Red Trays!! No more Kueh!!!

And lastly, we headed to Muah after lunch to get some otah, and made our way back to Singapore..(I got a few DVDs along the way lol!) We arrived at Singapore customs at 11pm. And there, I tried my first method of smuggling chewing gum hehehe... I wont tell you how :)

Anyway got back home at almost 12am and hit the sack.

Well that's all for my Malacca trip, everything including th tiniest details are all said here. Hope you ppl enjoy it :)

Cheers!

Ratatouille :)

Haha finally can go out after the tiring trip to Redang.

Went out with Gil, she accompanied me to go to repair my phone, at the slip of my tongue I told the service centre I dropped my phone. So no luck, I'll try at Wheelock Place the Nokia Service Centre. Shopped around a little at Parkway Parade(more like looked around), then made our way to Tampines mall, got a $9 T-Shirt there at Fox, Yay! Ate at Aijisen Ramen for lunch as we chilled and chatted over lunch, seems really nostalgic when I eat with her and cant really explain it.

We watched Ratatouille Yay! Darn nice the movie, the story was great and the sound effects were fantastic... it'll be the best if they can somehow include smell into the movie. Shopped again for clothes, I got myself another 2 T-Shirt at B.U.M Equipment, a 2 for $20 deal so I got them. Blue is a great colour on me :)

Sent Gil home and chilled for a while near her house, sadly it was such a cloudy night and no stars were in sight. Homed after that.

Darn, now I know wad bus to take to Gil' house, I can take a 59 that cuts through the PIE, takes only exactly half an hour to reach there haha! Rather than I take a 28 which takes like almost an hour to reach haha!

Remember to Tag ppl,
Give Kev a Hug :)
Cheers!

LTC@Redang & Homed! (Part1)

Heya there, Im back from Redang!!

Gosh all I can say now is that Leaders of Tomorrow's Camp @ Redang was SUPER FANTASTIC AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!

Whew... Honestly and you've got to believe me, if you're looking for a great place to sit back and relax and also if you love the sea, Redang is the place for you. And it's "Re-Dang" not "ReN-Dang" you ppl, lol!

Ok this post is so going to be dedicated to what happened at my LTC@Redang :D Post long long i dun care

I spilt it up so it's easier for everyone to read such a long post haha!

Cuz it's SEXYTIME!

Day 1, Wed

Got up early to fetch Gil and headed to VivoCity to get Charm's present, a soft cushiony bag from Zara, later we had Carl's Jr(Yay! Gigantor Burgers!) and something happened to Gil after saying a short prayer and I honestly was kinda shock, didn't see it coming, shan't say much here tho. Anyway later Gil hugged and saw me off at HarbourFront station.

Me and Rachel went off to meet the rest of the tribe(group) members. At 2.30 we headed to register ourselves to get our passes, lucily we were there early there were tons of ppl there just half an hour later. During that time till 5 we were all discussing about our cheer and stuff and who's the leader. Crap, I got chosen as leader(but dun have to be the monkey mascot yay!).

At exactly 5 we passed through the metal scanners and were greated by flashes of cameras and a huge Penguin mascot and other ondeck entertainers. Finally we boarded our ship, the Star Virgo. As the tribe leader, I had to get everyone to chop chop to keep on schedule. Cuz it's like this...

5pm Board Ship
5.15pm Meet our Student Alumni Direction for talk
5.45pm Dinner at a posh place on the ship(plus we had to eat fine dinning style)

See? just like that and everything must rush man. at 7 we had a safety drill and at exactly 8.10pm, the ship sailed off whilst we waved Bon Voyage to Singapore, oh the view of Singapore by the bay is fabulous especially when the sun setted earlier on at 6 plus. Later we went to see some entertainment show. There was some Brazilian Latino Dancing, Chinese Acrobats, flash dancing by a guy and a fat singaer lol! let's see, there's a Chinese hat performance, a singer singing "Come Fly With Me" and lastly more dancing! Haha! lasted for a good half an hour before we headed to the helipad for icebreaker games.

Man the wind was freaking strong up there! I threw my jacket up, it flew 2 meters away! That strong! And gosh, we were all high on sea wind or something we all couldn't stop laughing while we were playing the icebreakers. Later we had yet another talk by the SAA Director again about being a good leader not that bad cuz it lasted for half an hour too before we had Mediterranean food for supper! When we headed to 1 floor below the helipad... Crap it's not really Mediterranean food.. The place was just called Mediterranean Buffet and all they served was regular food! Aaahh! Plus they didn't really used plates, they used these orange trays like those in prison with sections on the tray to put different food. So after dinner had a short meeting for our skit before we hit the sack at 3.30am :p

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://kevalex.blogspot.com/2007/09/ltcredang-homed-part1.html' title='LTC@Redang & Homed! (Part2)

Day 2, Thur

Wah, had to wake up at 6am. Tried waking up but couldn't so my friends helped me. Both from my tribe, Anthony SQUEEZED my ass and Ric PINCHED my nipples waking me up with a start! Crazy gay ppl haha!

6.50am we were up at the helipad to do morning excerises. Haha, luckily we didnt have to do the regular PT, we all played some game, last tribe to do complete the challenge(every tribe member has to do 20 pushups and crunches) has to do forfiet. Yup and we were last tribe lol!

Had breakfast and discussed our skit and departed to Redang on a ferry.
Yay! At last we reached Redang at the jetty then it was a 5 mins walk to the resort and we were all greeted by the open clear blue sea, smooth white sandy beach and the sun was shining with a ray of warm light upon our skin. Truely this is paradise for everyone :)

The resort doesn't look like much, it just looks like little terrace houses surrounding a swimming pool with a "kampong" style of lobby and on the second level of the "kampong", we could see the entire view of the sea with the people playing on the beach. Finally we all checked in into our rooms. It was SUPERB! The room had 4 white sheeted beds with wooden frames, wooden floorings and something like a rattan cupboard. On top of that the floorings were a little different, the place where we put our shoes and the toilet area were not made of wood but little of little pebbles. Plus the toilet and bathing doors are all made of wooden haha! hardly anything metallic in the room and the wooden ambience makes you feel so much closer to nature :)

As soon as we checked in, we all got ready to go Snorkling! Wheee~! We straped ourselves with pink life jackets and were briefed about how to and the safety of snorkling. Especially international laws like touching a coral can land you with a hefty RM20,000 fine! We were led to the jetty to take a boat to snorkling area, about half an hours ride there so we actually caught a forty winks along the way there.

When we reached there, we saw the water was Fantastic! Clear blue and you can actually see almost everything at the bottom even though it was quite deep. The water was cool when we got in, not very cold, just cool. There was like TONS of fishes all over the place, swimming just slightly over the corals at the bottom and you cant see the sandy seabed or rocks cuz it was really covered by corals. Some fishes were even daring enough to approach us to say hello... well figuratively.
See, with our lifejackets on, we cant dive to the bottom and even tho there are ppl who cant really swim properly can see be safely floating to the top. At actually, a big thanks to that, cuz I heard from my team members taht they saw a swordfish swimming nearby and a rather big one too. Brrr... Scary.... Later we were passed a load of bread for each tribe to feed the fishes, and it's not just fish by fish swimming up to you to take a nibble at your piece of bread, it's more like 5 or more fishes gnawning at the little piece of bread held in your hand. White Promfrets and a few fishes that look like fighting fish but the size of my hand, swam all around me. The fishes are really huge and so are the corals, I saw one orange dome shaped coral that is actually the freaking size of a room!! That big, serious man! Sadly we left and headed back to our resort after some time looking around and we had some of our pictures taken by some diver.

Soon afterwards after returning our snorkling equipment, we bathed and went for dinner and got ready for the TalentQuest. Soon we had to put up a skit for everyone to sit back and enjoy. My tribe "Nova" did a parody of the ship entertainment show the day before. And yay we were at 3rd place :D When the TalentQuest ended, we had a short debrief and headed back to our lovely rooms to get some rest and be all geared up for the next day.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://kevalex.blogspot.com/2007/09/ltcredang-homed-part2.html' title='LTC@Redang & Homed! (Part3)

Day 3, Fri

It was an early morning for everyone, everyone had to be up at 6 plus and be at breakfast at 7. Greeting again by the morning sun, we strolled to the beach at 8.15am for a sandcastle building challenge. Yay and Nova won 1st for the challenge! We built a pyramid with a volcanno in the center of it and little volcannos surrounding the main one plus a river flowing through everything. This symbolises the view our group wants in our club. Strong foundation, everlasting growth and dynamic explosiveness in our club and leading as a role model for everyone to be the same and follow our example, the river represents the everflowing change and ability to adapt to what situation we are in and how to tackle them.

After that was done, we did a water rafting challenge. Build a raft with what you have and cast out to search for "supplies". Well we did sort of build the raft with 2 pipes, 2 tyres, 2 barrels and loads of raffia string... till the barrels came out half way but everyone was alright on the raft. There're 2 girls and 2 proxy girls(2 guys with E size "boobies"!) on the raft and 4 guys had to hold on to the static rope(the rope from land to the raft at sea) and we had to go about chest level into the water for the raft to search for our "supplies"(well, not real supplies). Cuz if we go beyond chest level to neck level or anywhere else, there is a chance we might can attacked by man-eating sharks.. Real ones.. dum dum dum.

As soon as we got out of the sea and the results were announced, we all for a dip in the POOOOLL!! For once in my time I had found water slides, even if the's children's one, damn fun to play haha!! Wow, Anthony is a darn good swimmer man, he can dive and not go up for air for almost the entire length of the swimming pool. I on the other hand, 4 secs ploop, come up already gasping for air. Oh and we saw this really cute baby, he had really nice skin colour and he had blue eyes. A German baby he was :)

At around 1 plus we got changed and went for lunch and later went to do a few activities. "Hot Stuff" was like this. Newspaper(Electric Barrier) laid out 2m by 2m with a paint tin(Catalyst) and a pail(Toxic Waste) in the center. Without talking and with raffia string, pour the contents of tin into the pail(to neutralise the contents). I got kicked out first for putting my hand out by mistake haha!
Followed up was the "TLC Journey", Amazing Race Redang style, confused at the start cuz there were 2 volleyball courts and we mixed up the clues so we had to backtrack alot. In the end we came out 2nd last, not that bad for a team who stumbled at the very start.

We had a very hearty dinner after the activity, fresh tasty satay were made for everyone, everything taste soo.. good. Especially after a long and tiring day. We made so much noise! Toasting and Cheering all the other groups for their work, my friend said: "Oi, ppl on the other side think that we all having chinese wedding, Yam Seng Yam Seng so much sia hahaha!"

And for the better part of the camp, we made our way to the resort ballroom for the presentation of certificates to everyone and prizes for the best tribe. Sadly we came in last, even so... we were the noisest trive and had the best time of our lives :) no complaints haha! After that was a short debrief and stayed at the girls room till way past midnight, talking, crapping and loads of jokes. I knocked myself out on the soft wooden floor so shortly afterwards we went back to our rooms to pack up, ready to check out the next day.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://kevalex.blogspot.com/2007/09/ltcredang-homed-part3.html' title='LTC@Redang & Homed! (Part4)

Day 4, Sat

Woke up again early, Anthony found a new way to wake me up, gently slide a finger down my spine and I jumped up man! Made our way to breakfast and checked out of the place at 8.30.

Left on a ferry to someplace(Merang or something like that). The whole camp was split into 3 coaches. Before we left on our coaches, we had a short amount of time to take a look at the little shops there, we bought a few souveniers there, Rachel and Adriana wanted to buy a Sarong Kebaya but they didn't have the size or colour, after a bit of looking, Adriana found one.. and cheaper too Yay! :D

And it was a long journey back, talked and talked... then slept for a while... then talked and talked and played stupid mind games on each other like "How Many Bears Jump Over the Wall" and stuff like that.

Stopped by for lunch and got back on the bus and it's talk and talk and talk and mind games and talk and talk again.. till we reached Johor for a short dinner. Finally we reached Tuas and it's home sweet home back in Singapore.

Took the last few photos of everyone on the bus and singing songs along the way before reaching GoldenMile. *huggies to all my tribe ppl* I just miss everyone thinking about them.

Well that's all for the trip at Redang, everyone... GO TO REDANG! NICE SEA, GREAT BEACHES & BEAUTIFUL STARRY NIGHTS! MUST GO HAHAHAHAHAHA!

That's all folks
Cheers :)

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://kevalex.blogspot.com/2007/09/ltcredang-homed-part4.html' title='LTC@Redang & Homed! Exams are miraculously, fantastically and finally over!!

Yeah, it's been a very long time since I've blogged, really had no time on my hands at all.
My weeks were jam pack with projects and revision for a good long month! Sigh, no time to enjoy.

Well, execpt for one of the days, if i recalled correctly it was on the 10th of Aug... a friday, nights out with an old friend, just to chill and have some special company with. And I got a new shirt too haha!! Fantastic time with her haha!

Exams were tough, no time, now there's time.. :) I've been watching Pirates' Thrilogy for almost a week! Pirates are nice :) loads of action, funny "pirates' accents and language" loads of "CLING CLANGS!!" from sword fights, Captain Davy Jones, Captain Barrbosa and the witty Captian...Jack...Sparrow XD

Of course, other than watching pirates fight and blow up ships, I head out with friends. :) like on last Friday, Gywn, Phy, Shawn and I played badminton for 2 solid hours! Felt darn shiok after having a quick shower and a short nap at Phy's house :) Even with a slight headache we headed down to Holland V.
First time there tho and the place was fantastic! It didn't even look like Singapore at all with all the bars and restraunts. We all couldn't even decide where to eat, least the kind of food we were all craving for lol! In the end we ended up at Breko's cafe. Nice... cosy chillout place, luckily we asked if we could sit inside, so we all got 2 huge chairs, 2 of us could sit on one. So we ordered wad looked good on the menu and this is wad we had :D

This one is mine, Steak and Agio Olio Pasta, Gywn had Veal and Sausages and tons of mash potato, oh trust me... the mash potatos are FaBuLoUs!! Soft... Creamy... and smoothy.... XD. Shawn had his almost the same as mine, his was a ribeye steak and Phy had Cordon Bleu Chicken, oh her chicken was really crispy and juicy and layered with cheese inside...oohh... tastes darn good haha! And to imagine all these good food cost under $16 each! Cmon! where can you find above average steak and pasta under $16??

But the funny thing about the place is that our tables are actually coffee tables. So it's kinda weird that we had to bend forward alot just to eat our meals haha!

Aha! Wad do we have here? :D

Haha, i guess it's a common thing for most bars or some sort, Breko's had this all week, all day 2 for $10 beer. Wooooo..... well we ordered one Corona and one Hienikien. And guess wad? I ordered another 2 as take away to bring home eheheheheh!! Well my mum didn't even say a word when I got back home later whew haha!!

Cheers to the 2 new drink buddies haha!

Sunday was a chillout day, church, pool, slack and chat about church politics and how we can tackle them. Some ppl in church like one of our juniors are like getting bad to worse doubled with a huge attitude prob, we just dunno how to handle him. But yeah we still discuss about him, and later he's under my care now since I'm so called "on good and friendly" terms with the young ones in my church at St Joseph's. Then went back home to prepare for dinner. That was when I finished the beer with my uncle I bought at Breko's haha XD

Let's see today.. Sigh today had to wake up early just to attend my Leaders of Tomorrow Camp at Redang briefing...**Yay! Redang! Cruise! Hooo!! Lol!** Sigh... well lucky me that Rachel is also part of my tribe(it's a group but dunno why they just had to name it tribe argh!) and her sleeping cabin is like right next to me.. Wow... all boys cabin next to and all girls cabin... hmm... that'll be very interesting haha!
Well after the briefing Rach had to go for another camp briefing cuz tomorrow she's going for another camp, sad.. oh well but I spent time making new friends from the SP choir. Adriana and Kenneth, 2 funny ppl :) we had lunch at KFC later before we departed our seperate ways(I wanted to go to the gym). Did some workout and homed after that.. actually i was watching Pirates again... lol!! I cant help it! I love Pirates!

Have you ever wondered...

-If you became a pirate? Not a pirate that owns a ship but one that "take wad you can, give nothing back!" kind. I know it's a sin to steal or even to think about it but it's kinda cool! Come to think of it that's wad i do in my electronics lab... I actually <s>stole</s> took a roll of extremely thin wire and is extremely expenseive that cost like $16 for a roll haha! Better not think too much about it until I become a thief myself haha!

-If someone you like or that special person or friend is thinking of you? Not thinking of killing you or castrating you or thinking lewd stuff about you but just thinking something nice, sweet memories of that person. I think it's just great to know that someone thinks about you.. well me in my case.. and not weird stuff about me..

Well that's it for today, long story i know, yes... enjoy reading it :)
Cheers and Drink up me hearties Yo Ho!

Your Eyes Should Be Blue

Your eyes reflect: Innocence and sweetness

What's hidden behind your eyes: A calculating mind

What Color Should Your Eyes Be?

Your Personality Is

Guardian (SJ)

You are sensible, down to earth, and goal oriented.
Bottom line, you are good at playing by the rules.

You tend to be dominant - and you are a natural leader.
You are interested in rules and order. Sadly it didn't work out properly :( but thank god it looked like it worked perfectly fine when we run the robot. Staying at rachel's house was fun, when our legs were tired, we soaked our feet into hot water... ooohhh that feels darn good.

Well at the the last 2 projects were done too.

Now I've been staying mostly at home instead of spending time in school to study, so I've found a new way to destress myself from my studies. My keyboard!!

Currently I managed to almost fully play 2 praise and worship songs, Give Thanks and Here I am to Worship, and Im experimenting on other songs like Save the Last Dance for Me, Sway by Michael Buble and Way Back into Love from Music and Lyrics. Well managed to get some parts right for those songs and I must say(and Im not bragging) my left hand is getting significantly better at changing chords after just 2 days of playing haha!! :) Well look forward to new songs, say goodbye to my guitar and hello to the keyboard!

revision is totally dragging and dregging me down. Im most afraid I might have to do a forward module the next semester, pray for me that I wont aahh!! gotta try and study hard.

Well that's all for my past few weeks of stuff..
Kevin's dying....
No time....
To change the fact of the day....
Oh but luckily today I found the time to do it
so look to your right to see it haha!

Ciao and take care everyone, study hard and good luck for your exams.

heya there,

nothing much for today, just that i skipped lessons after lunch to catch up with revision. Well here is a brief summary of my week.

Sunday 15/07/2007
Went to Furama Hotel for a Peranakan Fiesta Luncheon, it's the first time we had peranakan food in a buffet style. I just thought it wasn't as nice as it is served to you so you can see and slowly savour the taste. Anyway food and the play was fabulous. :)

Tuesday 17/07/2007
Had a test at 9.30am for my GEMS(Effective Speaking Skills). The test was to hold a conversation for 20 mins, so easy man!! Esp when the topic was on "Divorce", I talked alot about my parents cuz Im from a single family. Then my freinds thought I was bullshitting after I told them about Shawn's "Koala's have weak hearts" story haha!! Anyway went down to yamaha after Breaking of the Word prayers to buy some music scores but couldn't find any good books :( wasted trip sigh..

Wednesday 18/07/2007
Gosh had another test again on some MircoMouse programming, we were made to make this robot go through a maze, quite fun. But not fun when it cant work. Two of my girl friends cried when they left, scared the crap out of them cuz I had a feeling the computers were the roots of their problems. One of them left for work and the other went back, I followed her to complete the rest of the robot(since she's my group member and she did become happier after the completion). Then my friend Ming Hui went to learn cooking at Rachel's house. The best porridge I had so far!

Friday 20/07/2007
Hohoho... we just got an idea for our MircoMouse project, lotsa ideas and doing them over the weekend. Cant wait to show it actually, I'll probably make a video out of it :) Had yet another test earlier on, on installing circuitbreakers on motors, I think I got full marks for the test yay! XD. After the test, mummy rachel, daddy yuan, hard gay jing yuan and me went to Pepper Lunch to have have..lunch? Omg, the food is fantastic there, first time trying for me and it's so worth it the money even though it's like $10+? Must eat more.... lol! Thanks daddy, for all the components. I got this box of components, imagine the money you save instead of buying it haha! Played foosball and did project until 8. Now I'm getting of foosball.. sigh.

Health Tip #4

Blood Circulation plays an important part in our being. In order to stay healthy it is very important to have good blood circulation. Proper blood circulation helps in transferring nutrients and oxygen to various parts of the body. Lack of good blood circulation causes diseases due to harmful foreign particles entrapped in the tissue.

Some Problems from Poor blood circulation:

1) Hypertension: A common problem found with many people mainly middle-aged and elderly people. This happens because cholesterol plaques are deposited along the walls of the arteries, causing it to harden.

2) Varicose Veins: This happens when the walls of the veins loses its elasticity. Lack of exercise, increasing age, junk food just adds to the stress escalating this problem from one leg to the other.

Improving Blood Circulation:

1) Ginkgo nuts has the ability to improve blood circulation to the brains extremities. It increases the sharpness of the mind, in relation to all the ages.

2) Cayenne, Ginger, Garlic and Ginkgo are some of the best defenses against poor blood circulation. Tincture from these is easily absorbed by the body which helps in reducing cholesterol level, cleansing the blood, preventing heart disease and also fights atherosclerosis.

3) Onion too can improve the blood circulation level, as well as relax the muscles.

4) Hydrotherapy also known as hot and cold shower also works well to improve blood circulation.

5) One can heighten the poor blood circulation problem by infusing rosemary leaves or flowers with red wine.

6) A simple exercise like walking, which anyone can do is one of the easiest ways to increase blood circulation level which helps the muscles and other tissues.

7) Damiana, Turnera Afrodisiaca is known for it aphrodisiac and mood elevating qualities. It also happens to improve and enhance our blood circulation. The improved blood circulation helps in governing the hormone production as well as fights mild depression, sexual disinterest and menstrual problems.

8) Massaging!! As many of us tend to perceive is an act of relaxation, but it is more than that. The touch of hands and legs in appropriate places calms your muscles and joints, relieves stress as well as improves blood circulation which helps the body in many ways.

9) Masturbation & sex, it helps in pumping more blood when one gets sexually aroused. The same way applies like doing light exercises :)

Health Fact:

Ever thought of what your children will be? A boy or a girl? Well here's a way how to increase your chances of having a boy or a girl :)

*Pardon if it sounds gross but that's how it is, and it's proven so Ha! Dun think so dirty*

And you know what helps to determine this? Sex... simply put, how a guy performs in bed and how a girl is pleasured. (stop thinking dirty you horny freaks! XD)

So it goes like this:
For boys... The fluids that's inside the uterus(a.k.a. womb) after copulation has to be more alkaline for chances of getting a boy to be higher.
So the same goes for the girls, the less alkaline the fluids are, the higher chances of getting a girl.

So now here comes the more gross part... guy's semen are naturally alkaline in nature but that's not enough to make a boy. Ah ha... so now it's up to the girls now to orgasm(stop thinking dirty you horny freaks! XD) as much as they can to pump in as much girl fluids as possible into the uterus to make it as alkaline as possible. In a sense you can put it as lesser girl fluids after copulation, higher chances of getting a girl and vice verse.

Anyway, like I said, it only gives you a higher chance, not a fool-proof method of getting the kind of child you want. Well it's just a fyi on factors on how a baby's gender is determined. Nothing more haha!

Thanks Daffodil for telling me how important water is, well I guess I'll be starting to drink more water, even though I'm quite contented with my water intake from food alone.

She was telling me how she made a book on nutrition and how to beat colon cancer cuz of the lack of vegetables in our daily diet. I thought that was kinda cool and a huge accomplishment not many of us can try to achieve. I tried writing a book once on nutrition too, well I tried but I think I didn't go specifically on like colon cancer and how your diet should be.. but I just focused on everything that relates to nutrition, so the book was never completed and just went down the drain. Sigh, well it was worth a try haha!

Had a damn fun time playing foosball and laughing our heads of with moons.. you all will probably think I'm going bonkers but I ain't. I just love....moons... especially how big and shiny they are....hahaha!! Gosh foosball just cant get any better than this haha!

Taken at Pool Fusion 3. I mean, constipation :)

Drinking water also helps you to keep fats away!!

LADIES!!! Drinking water helps to improve your complexion, it hydrates your skin and make it look more radiant!!!

MYTH: Drinking excessive amount of water will give you water retention.
FACT: Drinking enough water will help you to get rid of more fluids and prevent water retention. But if you were to stop drinking water for a period of time and suddenly increase your intake you will get water retention.

Drinking water helps you to detox and keep your body cleanse.

FYI your body is made up of 80% of water and YOU need the water to keep your organs functioning.

SO START DRINKING WATER TODAY!!!!!!!

Silent Reflections

Today was just like any other schooling day in SP..but today I've been thinking a tad more than usual. About friends that stay or go.. True friends around us.

Are they here to give you a helping hand, a hand to pat you on the back? Or are friends here to have fun and leave you there in a runt? Even worse is when you know you've got good friends until they suddenly turn their back against you. That just sucks big time.

Well I felt better after praying about it after our bible sharings today. It doesn't really seem like bible sharing cuz we tend to digress alot about other stuff haha! But the main thing is that we all shared about how we all have God helping us to go through these difficult times.. For me it's more about having trusting and loyal friends, well I certainly have at least one without any fear at all... and that's God himself :)

Anyway, Shawn, Roshan Val and I were sharing until like 7.45pm? Darn late it was, the whole room was dark and laid in the center of the room were 2 dimly, lightly tealight candles, which just made the entire atmosphere of the room seem so romantic and intimate :) We all had a good laugh and a good and fruitful sharing at the end of the day. :)

Health Tip #2

Black Fungus used in Chinese herbal soups are very good for thinning your blood. People with thick and viscous blood have a high tendancy of getting blood clots and sometimes lack of oxygen to the brain and other parts of the body. So thinninng the blood helps to let people with thick and viscous blood have a smoother bloodflow.

Aspirin also thins your blood but it thins it too much to a point, where you cannot even have minor cuts as it will take a long time for the blood to stop, since it's so "watery".

So taking black fungus is a much better option to easily control the intake of it. Plus, black fungus is edible and goes well with soups, and will definitely taste much better than medications. :)

Heya there everyone :)
Welcome to my new blog, not very happening yet but it will be soon XD just you wait.

Anyway TRANSFORMERS was AWESOME!!! AAAHHHH!!! "Autobots! Let's roll!" *faints* it's so darn cool... I might feel like watching it again haha! storyline was quite ok, short actually. But the action and coolness was fantastic!! A MUST WATCH!! Well after that I went back home with Janice.

Health Tip #1

Ever thought there would be a drink to help you cut down on your fats and make you leaner??
Well here's a drink for you....

Milk... or yougurt or cheese or rather any form of dairy products

Yes, a study was conducted by Michael Zemel, chairman of Department of Nutrition at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, on Africa-American men with high blood pressure. They were all even 2 cups of yougurt to their daily diet, not only did their blood pressure go down, so did their body fats! 5 kg on an average!!

More calcium consummed, the more leaner you get.

This is becasue a high calcium diet suppresses calcitriol, a hormone that signals fat cells to make more fat and burn less. This really helps especially when you're excerising alot.

So add 2 more servings of dairy products to your daily diet, dun forget your 2 servings of fruits and vegetables :)
